At the APEC Business leaders China Forum on June 17, 2023, Ren Hongbin, president of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and China International Chamber of Commerce, pointed out that although the current world economic recovery is full of uncertainties and instability, the Asia-Pacific region is still the most dynamic region in the world and has always been at the forefront of the world economic recovery. The International Monetary Fund predicts that economic growth in the Asia-Pacific region will rise from 3.8% in 2022 to 4.6% in 2023, contributing about 70% to global growth. As a major economy in the Asia-Pacific region, China's economy is expected to grow by 5.2% for the whole year, and its contribution to global growth will reach 30.9%.
