According to a press release issued by the Hong Kong Special Administrative region Government, the Hong Kong Labour Department announced that the Employment (Amendment) Ordinance 2022 (Commencement) notice came into effect on 16 June to repeal the provisions relating to COVID-19 vaccination under the Employment Ordinance. A spokesman for the Labour Department said: "from now on, there is no provision in the Employment Ordinance relating to vaccination requirements.
