Chinese Academy of Sciences: independently developed a new generation of artificial intelligence model

The Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences released in Shanghai this morning a new generation of artificial intelligence model-- Zidong Taichu 2.0. Compared with the first generation, the new large model improves the ability of decision-making and judgment, realizes the leap from perception, cognition to decision-making, and will play a greater role in medical treatment, transportation, industrial production and other fields in the future. As the first three-mode model in China to store hundreds of billions of parameters, the first generation of Zidong Taichu artificial intelligence model realized the ability of unmarked image, text and speech recognition when it came out in 2021. This new generation of large model is upgraded to integrate the recognition capabilities of video, sensor signals and 3D point clouds, breaking through key technologies such as multimodal grouping cognitive coding, decoding, and full-mode cognition. It improves the decision-making and judgment ability of the system, and opens up the path of system recognition ability from perception, cognition to decision-making, thus expanding a wider range of application scenarios. At present, Zidong Taichu large model has been used in many fields, such as neurosurgical navigation, short video content review, medical multimodal differential diagnosis, traffic violation image reading and so on.
