[Saudi intellectual property Office designated Chinese State intellectual property Office as PCT international retrieval unit and international preliminary examination unit] according to the State intellectual property Office, according to the letter of intent on PCT cooperation between China's State intellectual property Office and Saudi intellectual property Office, it has been officially confirmed by the World intellectual property Organization since May 1, 2023. The State intellectual property Office of China will become the international search unit and international preliminary examination unit (ISA/IPEA) for PCT international patent applications submitted by nationals or residents of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or in English or Arabic (with English translation).
