[Ministry of Foreign Affairs: exchanges between China and the ROK at all levels and in all fields help to strengthen communication and exchanges] Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin held a regular press conference on 15 June. A reporter raised a question on the visit of members of the Democratic Party of the South Korean opposition party to China. Spokesman Wang Wenbin said that exchanges between China and the ROK at all levels and in all fields will help to strengthen communication and exchanges, enhance friendship and mutual trust, and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation. The governments of China and South Korea have always taken a positive attitude towards this. As far as I know, during their visit to China, relevant ROK lawmakers will have contacts and exchanges with relevant departments and think tanks of the Chinese side and exchange views on Sino-ROK relations and issues of common concern. The Chinese side believes that the more difficult the bilateral relations are, the more the two governments and people from all walks of life should strengthen communication and jointly play a positive role in promoting the healthy and stable development of Sino-ROK relations.
