The year-on-year increase in the price of commercial housing in first-tier cities slowed down, while the overall decline in second-and third-tier cities slowed down. From the perspective of newly built commercial housing, in May, the sales price of newly built commercial housing in first-tier cities rose 0.1% from the previous month, down 0.3 percentage points from the previous month. Among them, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou rose 0.2%, 0.3% and 0.1% respectively, while Shenzhen fell 0.2%. The sales price of new commercial housing in second-tier cities rose 0.2% month-on-month, 0.2 percentage points lower than the previous month. The sales price of new commercial housing in third-tier cities rose 0.2% month-on-month from last month to flat. From the perspective of second-hand housing, in May, the sales price of second-hand housing in first-tier cities rose 0.2% from the previous month to 0.4% from the previous month, of which Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen fell 0.6%, 0.8%, 0.2% and 0.1%, respectively. Second-hand housing sales prices in second-tier and third-tier cities were unchanged from the previous month to 0.3% and 0.2%, respectively.
