Qin Gang said that China attaches great importance to the protection of intellectual property rights and is speeding up its progress from a big intellectual property country to an intellectual property power. China firmly supports the World intellectual property Organization (WIPO) in playing a leading and coordinating role in global intellectual property governance, and is willing to continuously deepen high-level practical cooperation between the two sides, adhere to joint discussion, co-building and sharing, and oppose intellectual property bullying. We will promote the building of inclusive, balanced and effective international rules on intellectual property rights, so that the achievements of scientific and technological innovation can be reached, enjoyed and used by more countries and people, and safeguard the legitimate development rights of all countries.
