[Hong Kong dollar M2 rose 0.9% year on year in March M1 fell 20.5% year on year] data released by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority show that Hong Kong dollar money supply M2 and M3 rose 1.1% at the same time in March, both up 0.9% over the same period last year. The seasonally adjusted Hong Kong dollar money supply M1 rose 0.4 per cent in March, down 20.5 per cent from a year earlier, partly reflecting investment-related activities. The total money supply M2 and M3 both increased by 0.9% in March, and both increased by 1.4% compared with the same period last year.
