Saudi Nass Airlines is reported to be talking with airliners about jet orders to become the largest low-cost aviation company in the Middle East. According to a person familiar with the matter, Nass Airlines, the Saudi low-cost aviation company, is discussing jet orders with Airbus to expand its business and compete with other low-cost airlines in the region. It is reported that Nass Airlines may announce an agreement with Airbus during the Paris Air Show, which opens on the 19th. The aviation company had previously said it was considering setting up local companies in two other countries to advance its plan to become the largest low-cost aviation company in the Middle East. The Nass Air fleet currently has 48 aircraft. The aviation division had previously reached a $10 billion agreement with Airbus to purchase 120 aircraft. (Bloomberg)
