The China Securities Regulatory Commission and the Hong Kong Securities Regulatory Commission held the 13th high-level meeting of the regulatory bodies of the two places in Hong Kong today. At the meeting, the two sides shared the latest developments in their respective capital markets, reviewed the recent achievements of cooperation between the two associations in cross-border regulation and law enforcement, and discussed a number of cooperation projects to promote market development. The two sides agreed to strengthen and broaden various connectivity mechanisms, including the Shanghai-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect, cross-border LiCaiTong and fund mutual recognition arrangements, and further cooperation in the derivatives market and asset management industry. Other measures that will help promote the healthy development of the capital markets in the mainland and Hong Kong are also discussed.
