Japan to set up special agencies to formulate AI national strategy

According to a report on the website of the Yomiuri Shimbun on April 26, the Japanese government decided to set up a new "strategy meeting" to discuss national strategies related to artificial intelligence (AI). For the entire field of artificial intelligence, such as ChatGPT, which is rapidly gaining popularity, the above-mentioned "strategy meeting" will act as a command tower and point out the basic direction of policy. The conference will discuss the topics of artificial intelligence from two aspects: promoting application, research and development and strengthening rules.
