Canada's West Jet Airlines announced that it will begin to integrate its low-cost airline Swoop.

(FAP)-WestJet, Canada's second largest airline, announced the start of integrating its ultra-low-cost airline Swoop on June 9, local time. On the same day, WestJet reached a second collective bargaining agreement with the union representing Swoop pilots. The agreement will enter into force on January 1, 2023 and will be valid until December 31, 2026. Western Jet is expected to fully integrate Swoop into its mainline operations by the end of October. Swoop will end its existing network operations by October 28th, and employees will be transferred to Seagate.
