More than 400 fires on the east and west coasts of Canada remain fierce or continue throughout the summer.

(FAP, June 11)-Canadian wildfires that have been raging for nearly a month are still raging in the east and west of the country, forcing authorities to evacuate thousands of residents. Local officials warned that the fire could continue "throughout the summer." More than 46000 square kilometers of Canadian land has been burned since the start of the year, well above the usual average. There are still 416 active wildfires in Canada, of which 203 are classified as uncontrollable, according to the Canadian Environmental Administration.
