(China's first batch of unmanned road test license plates issued)-- A press conference on the launch of the Intelligent Network United Automobile Innovation lead Zone in the new Lingang area of the Shanghai Free Trade Zone was held yesterday at the Lingang Center. 15 vehicles from four companies, including Youdao Zhidu, Tucson Future, Saike Intelligence, and Yunji Zhihang, were awarded the first batch of national driverless intelligent network joint vehicle road test licenses based on legislation. It is reported that the new Lingang area has set up self-driving open roads with a total length of about 500 kilometers in the first line around Dishui Lake, the International Innovation Cooperation Zone, the Lianggang Avenue Expressway and the Donghai Bridge, and 15 licensed vehicles can be tested legally without drivers.
