FAP, June 9 / PRNewswire-FirstCall-Asianet /-- the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) asked the federal court for approval to use "alternative means" to serve documents on Qian an and Zhao Changpeng, saying that the cryptocurrency company executive was "known for highly protecting his whereabouts." SEC filed a request with the Federal District Court of the District of Columbia to allow it to serve legal documents by sending copies of the documents to lawyers representing Qian an and Zhao Changpeng during the investigation. The move comes after SEC sued the world's largest encrypted assets exchange and Zhao Changpeng on Monday for violating securities industry rules. (Bloomberg)
