Henan Meteorological Department issued a total of 75 orange warning signals for high temperatures exceeding 35 degrees Celsius. Monitoring by the Henan Meteorological Observatory showed that from 6: 00 to 16:00 on 8 June, most counties and cities north of the Huaihe River in Henan had high temperatures above 35 ℃, with 86 counties (cities and districts) with highest temperatures greater than 35 ℃ and 11 counties (cities and districts) with highest temperatures greater than 37 ℃. From 6: 00 on the 8th to 18:00, the meteorological department of Henan province issued a total of 75 orange warning signals for high temperature.
