Goldman Sachs: the creator's economy could be close to $500 billion in 2027

FAP, June 8 / PRNewswire-FirstCall-Asianet /-- the research department of Goldman Sachs believes that the "creator economy" (Creator Economy)-- a new economic model that allows creators to generate income by creating digital content with the help of Internet platforms-- has boomed and is expected to grow rapidly in the coming years. Eric Sheridan, an Internet stock research analyst at Goldman Sachs Research, wrote in a team report that with the continued development of the ecosystem, the potential market size of the creator's economy could double in the next five years, from the current $250 billion to $480 billion by 2027. This increase is roughly in line with the forecast of the Goldman Sachs research team for the growth of global digital advertising spending during this period. Analysts predict that online celebrity marketing spending and platform spending driven by short video platform advertising will become the main growth drivers of the creators' economy.
