Xinhua News Agency, June 8-scientists at the University of Minnesota at Twin cities in the United States have developed a new type of superconducting diode, which is more energy-efficient and can process multiple electrical signals at a time. It also contains a series of gates that control energy flow, which previous superconducting diodes do not have this function. New superconducting diodes help to expand the scale of quantum computers and improve the performance of artificial intelligence (AI) systems. The relevant papers are published in the latest issue of the journal Nature Communications.
