[Rio Tinto and Tianqi Lithium have held talks with Chile's Enami on lithium business] Chilean state-owned mining company Enami has held talks with potential partners, including Rio Tinto and Tianqi Lithium, to increase production of lithium, a key battery metal, under a new public-private partnership model. According to Nancy Perez, head of Enami's new lithium business subsidiary, the list of mining companies talking to Enami also includes SQM, the world's second-largest lithium supplier, and France's Eramet.
