[Baltic dry bulk Freight Index rose to a three-month high] the Baltic dry bulk freight index rose to a more than three-month high on Wednesday as capesize and Panamanian freight rates rose. The Baltic dry bulk index rose 4 points, or 0.4 per cent, to 1020, the highest level since March 1st. The capesize index rose 4 points to 1387, the highest level in three months. The average daily profit of capesize ships rose $33 to $11503. The Panamanian freight index rose 31 points, or 2.8%, to 1139. Average daily profit for Panamanian ships rose $279 to $10252. The index of super-handy bulk carriers fell 15:00 or 2 per cent to 766.
