[Ministry of Agriculture and Village, General Administration of Sports: holding National and American Rural Basketball Competition (Village BA)] the General Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Village and the General Office of the General Administration of Sports issued a notice on holding national and American rural basketball competitions (village BA) and decided to organize national and American rural basketball competitions (village BA). The purpose of the competition is to strengthen the construction of spiritual civilization in rural areas and enhance the fitness consciousness of farmers. By holding national, mass and agricultural rural basketball games, the competition will highlight the elegant demeanor of farmers in the new era, show rural styles, and lead rural fashions. We will create a strong atmosphere in which the whole society cares about livability, industry and rural construction in the United States, so as to comprehensively promote rural revitalization and speed up the construction of a powerful agricultural country. The competition is guided by the Rural Social undertakings Promotion Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and villages and the Mass Sports Department of the General Administration of Sports. The Chinese Farmers' Sports Association and the Mass Sports Department of the all-China Sports Association organize the competition, and the Chinese Basketball Association provides technical support. All agricultural, rural and sports departments at the provincial level should promptly sum up the development and achievements of local grass-roots competitions and report to the China Peasants' Sports Association before the end of September. Individual awards are MVP (most valuable player), scoring king, assisting king, three-point king and rebounding king in the finals.
