Mexican Finance Minister Rogelio Ramirez de la O said at an event hosted by BBVA that 20 companies have announced investment of US $13 billion in the country so far this year. Fifty-four per cent of the investment came from the auto and auto parts industries, with Tesla and Kia playing an important role.
