FAP, June 6 / PRNewswire-FirstCall-Asianet /-- US senators Richard Blumenthal and Josh Hawley wrote to Meta to seek information about the leaks of their large language model, LLaMA. In a letter to Mark Zuckerberg, the company's chief executive, senators wrote that Meta "does not appear to have conducted any meaningful risk assessment prior to its release, despite its realistic potential for a wide distribution, even without authorization." Senators want to know how Meta assesses the risk of releasing LLaMA, what steps have been taken to prevent abuse of the model, and how to update policies and practices based on its usability.
