President of Microsoft: looking for a solution to the British ban on Activision transactions

FAP, June 6 / PRNewswire-FirstCall-Asianet /-- Microsoft President Brad Brad Smith said on June 6th that he was looking for a solution to win British approval for Microsoft to buy Activision Blizzard for $69 billion. Microsoft appealed the decision after the UK's competition authority blocked the largest game deal in history in April. Mr Smith said he hoped the results would change. "if regulators have concerns, we want to address them. If there are problems, we want to solve them. If the UK wants to implement additional regulatory requirements that exceed EU regulatory requirements, we want to find ways to meet them. " Smith said. (Reuters)
