[Tongwei Co., Ltd.: plans to build annual 25GW solar cell and 20GW photovoltaic module project] June 6 / PRNewswire-Asianet /-- Tongwei Solar Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary, intends to sign a Solar Photovoltaic Industry Project Investment Cooperation Agreement with the people's Government of Shuangliu District of Chengdu, reaching cooperation on the company's investment in the construction of annual 25GW solar cells and 20GW photovoltaic module projects in Shuangliu District, Chengdu. The total investment in fixed assets of this project is estimated to be about 10.5 billion yuan. The project is divided into two phases, of which the first phase of the annual 25GW battery project is expected to be completed and put into production within 2024, and the second phase of the annual 20GW module project is expected to be completed and put into production within 2025.
