Reported that from 3 to 4, a number of residents in Dimitrovgrad, Ulyanovsk Prefecture, were diagnosed with "unknown substance poisoning" when seeking medical treatment. According to the investigation by the relevant authorities, the poisoning of residents is related to drinking a kind of cider sold in local stores. Ulyanovsk Governor Ruskihe said on the 5th that the number of people poisoned by cider in the state has reached 35 in recent days, of which 16 died and 19 are hospitalized. The report also quoted sources from relevant departments as saying that five people were poisoned by drinking problematic cider and two of them died in the city of New Gubishevsk, Samara. In addition, two cases of cider poisoning have been reported in the Republic of Udmut.
