The Emir of Qatar opens a visit to four Central Asian countries to focus on energy cooperation.

Xinhua News Agency, June 5, Qatar Emir Tamim of Qatar leaves for Central Asia, where he will visit Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan, and attend the Astana International Forum in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. During the visit, Tamim will discuss with leaders of relevant countries on further strengthening bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation in various fields, among which energy cooperation will be a key topic. As one of the world's leading producers and exporters of liquefied natural gas, Qatar hopes to strengthen policy coordination and industrial cooperation with Central Asian oil and gas producers.
