FDA allows imports of Chinese-made anticancer drugs to ease supply shortages in the United States

According to a recent report by CNN and the Wall Street Journal, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is working with Chinese drugmaker Qilu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. to import the anticancer drug cisplatin to increase supply in the face of a persistent shortage of cancer treatments. The FDA website recently made public the relevant product information submitted by Qilu Pharmaceutical.
