A new gene editing tool for non-invasive diagnosis of blood cancer

According to a recent report by the physicists' organization network, scientists at the University of Florida in the United States have developed a new non-invasive blood test method based on CRISPR technology. The effect of this method, called EXTRA-CRISPR, in cancer diagnosis is comparable to that of the widely used reverse transcription quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR). And it can be used with a simple portable device, which is expected to greatly speed up the process of early cancer diagnosis.
