[Shanghai Economic and Information Technology Commission Tang Wenkan: using the abundant computing resources in Lingang to build public computing services] Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily reported on the 2nd that at the intelligent computing conference in the new district of Lingang, Tang Wenkan, deputy director of the Shanghai Economic Information and Chemical Commission, put forward three suggestions: first, to use the abundant computing resources in Lingang to build public computing services. In particular, combined with the characteristics of the network adjacent to the port, the telecom operators actively build a fast computing power bearing network in the port, so as to promote computing power to become a public service like hydropower; second, they hope to increase the early trial in the new area near Hong Kong, explore the cooperation mode of linkage innovation of "network, data, computing power and security", open up both ends of the supply and demand of computing power, and explore the joint innovation mechanism of computing network. The third is to cultivate intelligent industrial ecology by using the complete industrial chain near the port. (reporter Huang Xinyi)
