As of Wednesday's close, Tesla shares were up 1.38 per cent at $203.93, up 88.65 per cent so far this year. Thanks to the soaring share price of Tesla, Musk's wealth has increased by more than $55.3 billion this year. Meanwhile, shares of LVMH, the luxury giant owned by Bernard Arnault, the former richest man in the world, fell 2.6 per cent in Paris on Wednesday. LVMH's shares have fallen about 10 per cent since April. Musk currently has a net worth of about $192.3 billion, while Arnault has a net worth of about $186.6 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index (Bloomberg Billionaires Index).
