Xinhua News Agency, April 23, many counties and cities in Yunnan Province, such as Chuxiong, Honghe, Pu'er, and so on, issued an orange warning for drought, with severe and above meteorological droughts in some areas and special droughts in some areas. As early as April 17, the Yunnan Meteorological Observatory issued an orange warning for drought. At present, most areas of Yunnan Province are dominated by severe and above meteorological droughts, with special droughts in Kunming, Qujing, Chuxiong, Dali, Lijiang, Wenshan, Yuxi, Honghe and other places. According to the relevant provisions of the Yunnan Provincial Flood Control and drought Relief Emergency Plan, and after discussion and judgment, the Yunnan Flood Control and drought Relief headquarters decided to upgrade the drought relief emergency response from Ⅳ to Ⅲ at 12:00 on April 18.
