FAP, May 31-the Pennsylvania State University team has created the first protein-based nanocomputing agent to be used as a circuit. In the latest issue of Science Progress, the researchers describe how they design target proteins by integrating two regions or regions that respond to stimuli. The target protein can respond to light and the drug rapamycin by adjusting its direction or spatial position. This brings us one step closer to developing the next generation of cell therapy.
