FAP, May 30 (Xinhua)-- the Baltic dry bulk freight index continued to decline on Tuesday, falling for the 13th consecutive trading day, hitting a nearly three-month low. The Baltic dry bulk index fell 49 points, or 4.2%, to 1129, the lowest level since March 1. The capesize index fell 39 points, or 5.3%, to 1594. Average daily profit for capesize ships fell $735 to $13221. The Panamanian shipping index fell 29 points, or 2.6%, to 1090, a three-month low. Average daily profit for Panamanian ships fell $261 to $9811. The index of super-handy bulk carriers fell 36 points, or 3.8%, to 910.
