Xinhua News Agency, May 30, Volkswagen Group (China) and Hefei Economic Development Zone jointly signed an agreement, Volkswagen Group (China) wholly-owned technology company project located in Hefei Economic Development Zone, which is also Volkswagen's largest technology and innovation center in China. It is reported that the total investment of the project is about 1 billion euros, and the company is expected to be officially put into operation in the first quarter of 2024, with about 3000 employees.
