Poland has signed a contract with the United States for the purchase of Hellfire missiles.

The "Hellfire" missiles purchased by Poland will be used to equip AW149 helicopters and Apache helicopters to be purchased from the United States in the future. The "Hellfire" missile is an air-to-surface missile with anti-armor capability, which can be loaded on UAV to accurately hit the target. In March this year, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency, which is affiliated with the US Department of Defense, said that the US State Department had approved a package of agreements to sell arms and technical support to Poland. According to the agreement, the United States will sell Poland 800 AGM- 114R2 "hellfire" missiles, four training missiles and other weapons and equipment. The purchase contract is valued at $150 million.
