The people's Bank of China will launch the fifth central bank bill swap (CBS) operation in 2023 in order to improve the market liquidity of banks' perpetual bonds and support banks to issue sustainable bonds to replenish capital, the central bank announced on Monday, May 29th. The operation volume of this period is 5 billion yuan, and the time limit is 3 months.
