[1500 people arrested during climate change protests in the Hague, Netherlands]-according to Agence France-Presse and the BBC, the Dutch police said that a climate change protest broke out in Haiya City, the country, on May 27th local time, and more than 1500 people were arrested by the police. Dutch police say they used water cannons to disperse protesters blocking a major road in the city and arrested 1579 people, 40 of whom will be charged with vandalism.
