[Ningbo Shipping Exchange: this week's India-Pakistan route index rose 14.4% from 1231.5 points] according to the Ningbo Shipping Exchange, from May 20 to May 26, the Ningbo Export Container Freight Index (NCFI) of the Maritime Silk Road Index released by Ningbo Shipping Exchange closed at 702.4 points, basically unchanged from last week. Of the 21 routes, the freight index of 11 routes rose and the freight index of 10 routes fell. Among the major ports along the "Maritime Silk Road", the freight index of seven ports rose and the freight index of nine ports fell. The market for India-Pakistan routes is volatile this week. Due to the continued shortage of shipping space on the route, the price of booking space in the spot market maintained an upward momentum, but the rate of increase was narrowed compared with the previous two weeks. The India-Pakistan route index was 1231.5 points, up 14.4 per cent from last week.
