FYN, May 26 (Xinhua)-- Japan's central government has announced that it will increase production of pure electric vehicle (EV) battery materials in China. A new joint venture company will be set up with large Chinese electrolyte enterprises. The registered capital of the new company is 450 million yuan, and the proportion of capital contributed by the central government is 35%. A plant with an annual capacity of 150000 tons was launched in August.
