No morbidity and death of class An infectious diseases were reported. Among category B infectious diseases, atypical pneumonia, poliomyelitis, diphtheria, human infection with highly pathogenic avian influenza and human infection with H7N9 avian influenza had no morbidity or death. Except for novel coronavirus infection, a total of 291128 cases and 2185 deaths were reported in the other 21 category B infectious diseases. The top five diseases reported were viral hepatitis, tuberculosis, syphilis, gonorrhea and brucellosis, accounting for 96% of the total number of reported cases of class B infectious diseases. In the same period, a total of 1810030 cases of class C infectious diseases and 32 deaths were reported. The top three diseases reported were influenza, other infectious diarrhoeal diseases and hand-foot-mouth disease, accounting for 99.5% of the total number of reported cases of category C infectious diseases.
