[Polish Ministry of Agriculture: regulations on subsidies for grain sales] April 20, Polish Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Thalus said on April 20 local time that Poland is currently formulating a regulation on subsidies for grain sales. The additional subsidy will enable Polish farmers to sell at a price of about 1400 zlotys (2292 yuan) per ton of wheat. Thalus says the biggest problem is not that exporters buy food, but that suppliers are unwilling to sell because prices are severely depressed. At present, the market price of Polish wheat is between 950 and 1000 zlotys per ton.
