Xinhua News Agency, May 20, according to the Chinese Embassy in Japan, the Group of Seven (G7) held a summit in Hiroshima, Japan, manipulating China-related issues in the joint statement, issuing so-called economic security documents alluding to China, grossly interfering in China's internal affairs on a series of issues and insisting on putting pressure on China. The Chinese side is strongly dissatisfied with and firmly opposes this, and has made solemn representations to the Japanese side. We urge the G7 to earnestly reflect on its own problems, stop condescending interference in other countries, and stop creating antagonism and division. As the chairman of this G7 meeting, Japan should reflect on what it has done and should not break its faith and beggar-thy-neighbor again and again.
