The Hong Kong Special Administrative region (SAR) Government welcomes the passage of the Stamp Duty (Amendment) Bill 2023 by the Legislative Council today to implement the stamp duty proposal in the 2003-24 Budget of ○, that is, to adjust the tax band of the second standard rate of ad valorem stamp duty payable on the sale or transfer of residential and non-residential properties.
