Taiwan media: Hou Youyi was called up by the Kuomintang to fight in 2024. According to the news of Weibo in Taitaihai, Zhu Lilun, chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang, officially announced at the Central standing Committee on 17 May that Hou Youyi, mayor of the new north, was recruited to run for leader of the Taiwan region in 2024.
