Xinhua News Agency, May 17, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs released a report on the 15th, saying that as of May 12, floods in Somalee County, Ethiopia, have killed 45 people, displaced more than 35000 families, killed more than 23000 livestock and destroyed more than 99000 hectares of farmland. The report says the floods also increased health risks, including the spread of cholera and measles.
