[EU Finance Ministers' meeting failed to reach agreement on the 11th round of sanctions against Russia] the EU Economic and Financial Affairs Council held a meeting on 16 May local time. Economic and finance ministers from 27 EU member states held discussions in Brussels, Belgium, on sanctions against Russia, banking crisis management and other focus issues. At the meeting on the same day, EU countries did not reach an agreement on the 11th round of sanctions against Russia.
