FAP, May 16 / PRNewswire-FirstCall-Asianet /-- TechInsights's latest report today pointed out that the deterioration of the macroeconomic environment and the continued slowdown in laptop demand led to a 30 per cent year-on-year decline in global laptop shipments in 2023. Shipments of 43.2 million Q1 laptops in 2023 were the lowest since the start of the global COVID-19 epidemic in 2020. Among them, Apple fared worst compared with the same period last year, with MacBook shipments falling by about 44 per cent.
