The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held a forum on safety emergency industrial development policy on 16 May. Xu Xiaolan, vice minister of industry and information technology, attended the meeting and made a speech at the forum on 15 May in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. The meeting stressed that industrial parks and enterprises are important carriers to promote the development of safety emergency equipment and play a key role in promoting industrial agglomeration and innovative development. It is necessary to strengthen policy guidance and study and formulate a "three-year Action Plan for the Development of key areas of Safety and Emergency Industry." Centering on key products in key areas, we should fully mobilize the enthusiasm of local governments, parks, enterprises, scientific research institutions and other parties, strengthen the tackling of key technologies and speed up the promotion and application of core technologies. We will improve the industrial layout, strengthen ecological construction, and take more effective measures to promote the high-quality development of safety and emergency industries.
