China's automobile exports have increased rapidly since the beginning of the year, according to the Financial Associated Press on 16 May. According to the General Administration of Customs, China's automobile exports totaled 204.53 billion yuan in the first four months of this year, an increase of 120.3 percent over the same period last year. According to data released by the Federation of passengers, from January to April 2023, China exported 1.08 million passenger cars, an increase of 115% over the same period last year. According to the China Automobile Association, 348000 new energy vehicles were exported in the first four months of 2023, a 1.7-fold increase over the same period last year. Huatai Securities released a report that Chinese car brands will accelerate to go out to sea in the next few years. With reference to the share of alternative cars in the core areas of going out to sea, it is estimated that the export volume of China's own brands will reach 3.53 million vehicles per year in 2025, with a compound growth rate of 73% in three years, making it the first automobile exporter.
